First things first: Of course we all know that the Freestyle Libre has only been tested and approved for the back of the upper arm. This has been made very clear. But after three years, I felt the need to switch things up, experiment a bit and try alternative sites for the Freestyle Libre. So even though I know that Abbott may frown upon my experiments and will certainly not accept responsibility or warranty in case I run into any problems, I took the risk and inserted the sensor in alternative sites.
